Lloyd and his spouse Susan, were fixtures at TBSr meetings, serving as mentor to many of TBSr's members and entertaining us with memories from his days in the music industry in Austin, TX.

Retiring in 2015, Lloyd devotes his time to Susan, family, hydroponic gardening and activism.

2018 Awarded to Carol Henry

Carol Henry, Director Emeritus, served as Director of Information Technology at the West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics from 1990 until she retired in May 2018. A very active member of TBSr since the first conference, she attended every annual meeting until her retirement, served on the board for several years, and served as board secretary for one year.

Carol strongly believed that TBSr was the best organization available to help her stay up-to-date with the IT environment in AACSB-accredited schools. Data from the annual TBSr surveys helped with strategic planning and with convincing the dean that plans were on-target.

Carol was a strong supporter of keeping IT management in individual colleges but always encouraged coordination and the sharing of services, when it made sense. She was very active in the WVU campus IT scene and helped organize and then chaired an Academic IT directors group on campus at the request of the CIO.

Anyone wishing to stay in touch with Carol should email her at carolhenry1125@gmail.com.
